What's a Plumpear?

T-Minus one week and counting! T being my day of self absorbtion and basking in the glory that is I one year older. I suppose it's childish to get so excited, but I have every year (except when I had chicken pox and couldn't have friends over) and right now it's refreshing to have a non purchased reason to be excited. One can only buy and return so many shoes/books/furniture before it becomes a non adventure in package waiting.

One of the things that has gotten me through this week is looking for bentos. I've found a multitude online but sadly my excursion to the Korean Store yielded none. I've stocked up on various other food and accessories to last me quite some time though. It's amazing how images of pretty, shiny boxes with various bunnies and flowers can brighten up a moody workday. I suppose, this new found obsession with lunchboxes is an effort to curb lunching out, but I think it's more on the scale of trying to get into preparation the day before or (dare I say it) getting up early and putting it all together. I waste so much time sleeping, even after the requisite umpteen hours knowing that I'm rested, I just can't get up and get out a half an hour earlier. Maybe the prospect flower cutting carrots and molding eggs into fish shapes will get me there.
